Honor Guard

Current Members

Cmdr. Melissa Greener – Cmdr. Greener graduated from the Weymouth Police Academy in 2005 and joined the Randolph Police Department. She has been a patrol officer, a detective and the department’s police prosecutor, and a patrol sergeant.  Before being assigned as the detective lieutenant, she was the commanding officer for the evening shift. She was promoted to Commander in 2021.  She is one of the founding members of the RAD program and the Senior Outreach Unit where she created the TAGS program, and is a longtime member of the honor guard, something she takes great pride in.

Lt. Christine Morse – Lt. Morse has served with the Randolph Police Department since 2004 and has been an Honor Guard member since 2014.  She served as the Safety Officer from 2011-2012, as the Police Prosecutor and a Detective from 2012-2016. She was promoted to Detective Sergeant in 2016. In 2019, she was promoted to Lt. and commanding officer of the midnight shift. She is married to RPD’s K9 Officer Stephen Morse and they have three beautiful children.

Det. Sgt. Jason Fisher – Det. Sgt. Fisher has served with the Randolph Police Department since 1997. He is currently a member of the Honor Guard and made Detective in 2005.

Det. Richard Brewer – Det. Brewer has served with the Randolph Police Department since January 2012 and has been a member of the Honor Guard since 2016.  Det. Brewer made detective in January 2015 and currently serves as one of the detectives assigned to the Drug Control Unit.

Det. Christopher Jones – Det. Jones has served with the Randolph Police Department since 2013.  He is a currently member of the Honor Guard.

Det. Kevin Gilbert – Born and raised in Randolph, Det. Gilbert played ice hockey and baseball through college and now actively coaches youth sports teams and enjoys playing music.  He graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice as well as a minor in Spanish language.  Det. Gilbert then went on to obtain his Master’s Degree from Boston University.  He was a graduate and class officer of the Boston Police Academy – Class 52-13.  Prior to working for Randolph PD, Det. Gilbert worked for UMass Boston PD. He was promoted from Officer to Detective in 2019. Det. Gilbert enjoys interacting with children, volunteering in the community and participating in charity events.

Det. Kristen Gagnon – Det. Gagnon graduated from the Plymouth Police Academy in 2002 and has been a certified Emergency Medical Technician since 1994. She is currently assigned to the Bureau of Investigation as the School Resource Officer assigned to Randolph High School. She has been a Detective/SRO since 2014.

Ptl. Craig Staffier – Officer Staffier has served with the Randolph Police Department since 2008 and has been an Honor Guard member since 2015.  Prior to working for RPD he was an MDC Park Ranger in the Blue Hills Mounted Unit from 1998 – 1999, an Avon Firefighter from 1999 – 2004, a Detective for Avon Police Department from 2004 – 2008.

Ptl. Steven Rosa – Officer Rosa has served with the Randolph Police Department since 2013 and has been an Honor Guard member since 2015.

Ptl. Matthew Rodman – Officer Rodman joined the Randolph Police Department in July 2013 after graduating from the Boston Police Academy.  Prior to becoming a Police Officer he attended Norwich University where he graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.  Officer Rodman served five years in the Army with two tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  In May of 2016 Officer Rodman was awarded the Robert P. Dana Award for meritorious service.
