Cmdr. John Hamelburg – Cmdr. Hamelburg was appointed to the Randolph Police Honor Guard in October of 1986. From the onset of his career, he proudly wore his uniform, be it during his shift or attending a ceremonial function. Cmdr. Hamelburg is a founding member of the Randolph Police Department’s Honor Guard and he now has the honor of following in the footsteps of past Honor Guard Commanders by currently serving as the Commander of this distinguished unit. Cmdr. Hamelburg proudly stands for our National Anthem.
Cmdr. David Avery – Cmdr. Avery is a 30 year veteran of the Randolph Police Department. He has been a member of the Honor Guard for 20 years. Cmdr. Avery has served as a Patrol Officer, Duty Detective, Prosecutor, Detective Sergeant, Detective Lieutenant and he currently serves as the Commander of Investigative Services.
Lt. Anthony Marag – Lt. Marag has been a member of the police department since 1996 and Honor Guard member since 2003. Promoted to Sergeant in 2008 and promoted to Lieutenant in 2014. Lt. Marag was assigned to detectives from 2004-2015 and was the supervisor of the Street Crimes/Narcotics Unit from 2008-2015. He is currently the Commanding Officer of the day shift and Program Director of the South Shore Street Crimes Task Force.
Det. Sgt. Christine Morse – Det. Sgt. Morse has served with the Randolph Police Department since 2004 and has been an Honor Guard member since 2014. She served as the Safety Officer from 2011 -2012, as the Police Prosecutor and a Detective from 2012 – 2016. Det. Sgt. Morse was promoted to Sergeant in 2016 and currently serves as one of three Detective Sergeants. She is married to RPD’s K9 Officer Stephen Morse and they have three beautiful children.
Det. Sgt. Jason Fisher – has served with the Randolph Police Department since 1997. He is currently a member of the Honor Guard and made Detective in 2005.
Det. Richard Brewer – Det. Brewer has served with the Randolph Police Department since January 2012 and has been a member of the Honor Guard since 2016. Det. Brewer made detective in January 2015 and currently serves as one of the detectives assigned to the Drug Control Unit.
Det. Christopher Jones – Det. Jones has served with the Randolph Police Department since 2013. He is a member of the Honor Guard and currently serves as the School Resource Officer for the Randolph Community Middle School.
Ptl. Craig Staffier – Officer Staffier has served with the Randolph Police Department since 2008 and has been an Honor Guard member since 2015. Prior to working for RPD he was an MDC Park Ranger in the Blue Hills Mounted Unit from 1998 – 1999, an Avon Firefighter from 1999 – 2004, a Detective for Avon Police Department from 2004 – 2008.
Ptl. Billy Lok – Officer Lok has served with the Randolph Police Department since 2012. He is a graduate of the Randolph Public School system and of UMass Lowell. He is the first full-time Asian American Officer on the department. He has been a member in the Honor Guard since 2015 and also manages the social media accounts within the department.
Ptl. Steven Rosa – Officer Rosa has served with the Randolph Police Department since 2013 and has been an Honor Guard member since 2015.
Ptl. Matthew Rodman – Officer Rodman joined the Randolph Police Department in July 2013 after graduating from the Boston Police Academy. Prior to becoming a Police Officer he attended Norwich University where he graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Officer Rodman served five years in the Army with two tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In May of 2016 Officer Rodman was awarded the Robert P. Dana Award for meritorious service.
Ptl. Kevin Gilbert – Born and raised in Randolph, Officer Gilbert played ice hockey and baseball through college and now actively coaches youth sports teams and enjoys playing music. He graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice as well as a minor in Spanish language. Officer Gilbert then went on to obtain his Master’s Degree from Boston University. He was a graduate and class officer of the Boston Police Academy – Class 52-13. Prior to working for Randolph PD, Officer Gilbert worked for UMass Boston PD. Officer Gilbert enjoys interacting with children, volunteering in the community and participating in charity events.
