BEAL, Michael D., Randolph Police Department, of Norwell, formerly of Randolph, tragically passed away, on May 14, 2022, at the age of 61. Born in Milton, Michael grew up in Randolph. He was a 1978 graduate of Randolph High School, where he played varsity ice hockey. Michael went on to graduate from Northeastern University and then he attended the police academy. He was a graduate of the MCJTC police academy recruit class #3. Mikey began his law enforcement career with the Harvard University Police Department and then transferred to the Randolph Police Department, where he has proudly been serving his community for over 35 years. Mikey held many roles within the Randolph Police Department and spent several years in the Honor Guard and playing in charity hockey games with his fellow officers. Mikey was a golfer, a member of the Randolph Elks, a huge Boston Bruins fan, however spending time with his loving family is what gave him the most joy. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, Michael will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to know him. Michael was the beloved husband of Carol S. (Richardson) Beal. Loving father of Courtney Scalice and her husband Salvatore (USCG) of Annapolis, MD, Brittany Geddis and her husband Steven of Hanover, Kellsey Beal of Norwell, Kiernan Beal and his wife Alison of Norwell, Liam Beal of Norwell, Ainsley Beal of Norwell, Hayley Beal of Norwell, and Thierry Beal of Norwell. Cherished Grandpa of Steven, Salvatore, Finley, Michael, and Maeve. Dear son of Theresa Beal of Randolph and the late Donald Beal. Devoted brother of Brian Beal of Weymouth and Keith Beal of Boca Raton, FL. Dear uncle of Brandon, Karissa, Andrew, Danielle, Emily, Ryan, Stacy, and Nicholas. Son-in-law of the late Thomas and Eva Richardson. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, May 19th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (RT 28), Randolph. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 20th at 11:00 AM in St. Bernadette Church, 1031 No. Main St., Randolph. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
