On Friday, Feb. 3, at approximately 2:20 p.m., a vehicle was allegedly stolen from the parking lot located at 27 Warren St. The vehicle was located by Randolph Police officers a short time later and they attempted to conduct a traffic stop.

The vehicle’s driver, later identified as a 17-YEAR-OLD JUVENILE, allegedly refused to stop for police, and reversed into a Randolph Police cruiser near the Braintree Town line. The officer was not injured. Three occupants got out of the vehicle at that time and fled on foot into a nearby neighborhood.

The driver allegedly continued fleeing in the stolen vehicle into Braintree, at which time Randolph Police officers terminated their pursuit. The vehicle was located by Braintree Police after it crashed in the area of Braintree High School.

The driver was taken into custody by Braintree Police and subsequently transferred to the custody of Randolph Police. The additional three occupants who fled — identified as TWO 16-YEAR-OLD JUVENILES and a 17-YEAR-OLD JUVENILE — were located by police. All four juveniles were taken into custody by approximately 4 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

All four were booked by Randolph Police and are expected to be arraigned in Quincy Juvenile Court at a later date.

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
