Randolph Police Investigating Shooting at Apartment Complex

RANDOLPH — Chief William Pace reports that the Randolph Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at the Rosemont Square Apartment complex last night.

At approximately 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, officers responded to 2 Chestnut West for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a 32-year-old male victim who had been shot in the face and neck at close range. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton with serious injuries and later transferred to a Boston hospital for further treatment. The victim is reportedly in stable condition.

The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male wearing a gray ski mask and black jacket.

Police do not believe the incident was a random act of violence.

The incident is under investigation by the Randolph Police Department and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office. Anyone with any information on last night’s shooting is asked to contact to contact the Randolph Police Department at 781-963-1212.
