Randolph Police Searching for Missing Teen

RANDOLPH — Acting Chief John J. Hamelburg Sr. reports that the Randolph Police Department is actively searching for Christopher Defreitas, who has been missing since yesterday, and is seeking the public’s help in determining his whereabouts.

Christopher Defreitas, age 16, of Randolph, was last seen at his home at 8 p.m. on Monday, April 24.

Defreitas is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 133 pounds, with an athletic build, brown hair and brown eyes.

Randolph Police, along with the Massachusetts State Police and the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (MetroLEC) are currently searching the area in and around the Randolph Reservoir.

There are no signs of foul play at this time.

Chief William Pace is currently away on vacation.
