Search for Missing Teen Resumes This Morning

The search for missing teenager Christopher Defreitas has resumed this morning. A MetroLEC command post is set up at 300 Pond St., and the Massachusetts State Police Dive Team and Environmental Police are continuing their search of the Great Pond/Reservoir.

Weather permitting, the State Police Air Wing will also be assisting in search efforts today. Randolph Police Detectives are continuing interviews and canvassing the area in and around the Great Pond/Reservoir.

There have been no new developments in the search at this time.

Defreitas is 16 years old and was last seen at his home at 8 p.m. on Monday, April 24. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 133 pounds, with an athletic build, brown hair and brown eyes.
