Randolph Police Association Raises Nearly $10K at 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Police Patrolman’s Union Local 18 and the Randolph Police Association are pleased to announce that their first annual charity golf tournament raised nearly $10,000 over the weekend.

The Randolph Police Association Local 18 Patrolman’s Union Golf Classic was held on Saturday, June 30, at Easton Country Club in Easton.

A total of 44 golfers took to the course and braved 90 degree temperatures to help raise money for the police union’s charitable efforts throughout the year.

The event raised $9,960, which will go to community-centered initiatives throughout the year.

After the tournament, a reception was held in the clubhouse, where dinner and refreshments were served.

A variety of items were made available through a raffle and silent auction, with prizes including Boston Bruins tickets and gift certificates that were donated by several local businesses.

The winners of the tournament each received a trophy, as did winners of the longest drive and closest to the pin competitions.

On behalf of the members of Local 18, President John Bringardner, Officer Kevin Gilbert and Officer Matthew Rodman, the patrolmen would like to thank Easton Country Club, along with all of the participants, volunteers, donors and sponsors for their support of the Randolph Police Department.
