The application deadline is Tuesday, Feb. 5, with an examination fee of $100. A late fee of $50 will be assessed to those who apply after Feb. 5. No applications will be accepted after Tuesday, Feb. 19.

The written examination will be held on Saturday, March 23.

The WAT includes areas of verbal expression and comprehension, problem sensitivity, deductive and inductive reasoning, and information ordering. It is used to measure the cognitive abilities that have been identified as essential to performing the duties of a Police Officer. The LES consists of multiple-choice questions related to the candidates’ past history and experience that are of potential relevance to successful performance of entry-level Police Officers. The WSQ assesses certain motivational, value-related, and attitudinal characteristics that are of potential relevance to successful performance of entry-level Police Officers.
